NBA Season

Now if the NBA Season doesn't happen because of greed. Then The NBA is just pathetic. I don't think at all that its the players that are pathetic. I think Its the rest of the NBA thats pathetic. The NBA is DUMB for going and trying to bargain in the first place. And for setting out to be the way they are today. Its pretty crap how some players become massive millionaires, yet now the NBA wants to take some money back from their own commodities. The players themselves. Its just twisted and convoluted. The NBA brand, and NBA stuff we buy is expensive. Shoes are expensive. Balls, cards, everything is expensive and sold at a massive profit. The players are paid quite handsomely. If most teams aren't profitable. Then Its not really up to the players. Its the NBA. And the team owners, that need to bargain properly. The players should only need to take a 1% pay cut. If Not any pay cut at all. it the amount of money being paid to the high end players that is to blame. And its not for the players to be taking a pay cut about it either. The NBA teams should try and figure out HOW, to make the season profitable. Its not quite right, for the players to receive a pay cut. If the players are taking a pay cut. then it should be those High End players that are giving some money to the other. lower end players. The TEAMS and management should cut back on COSTS and let the PLAYERS pay for and take some of the COST involved. Any lack of discipline in the NBA, and that player should take a massive paycut.    The referee's should be paid more. And the referee's need to GET BETTER @ WHAT THEY DO. And the players should keep their nose out of the calls. The Players should be taking a PAY CUT. The players need to learn some respect. Its the MANAGEMENT that needs to MAKE some more profit or break even, by cutting COSTS. WHY would anyone go to an NBA game now that everyone has had to put up with this fiasco? The NBA should maybe cut down on games throughout the season every season to cut costs and so the players last a bit longer maybe? I don't know. I haven't been to an NBA Game. I would love to go to an NBA game. I think I might really get to see where the inefficiencies really lie. What are you thoughts?

Derek Fishers letter to ALL

LAS VEGAS -- Derek Fisher is determined to make the NBA players meeting productive instead of divisive. With about 70 players expected to meet here on Thursday, the National Basketball Players' Association president sent an impassioned email to his colleagues. The letter, obtained by SI.com from a player and published in full below, criticizes agents who have been calling for the decertification of the union and asks players to remain supportive of its efforts. It's the second deliberate and creative wrinkle Fisher has added to the meeting. As reported Wednesday night by SI.com, NFLPA head DeMaurice Smith will be speaking at the session after accepting an invitation from the Lakers' guard.***To Each & Every Player,After the latest round of meetings, I thought it would be best to update you personally as to where the leadership of the National Basketball Players Association stands, where the negotiations stand where we are headed and the reasons why.Without a doubt, someone will be leaking this. I know it. The moment you read this you will know it. So, I say all with the fullest transparency.I was elected as your President. By you. For you. I take great pride and am honored to serve the over 400 members of our association. I and our Executive Committee take this job and this role seriously and will not agree to an unfair deal on behalf of you and our players. Period.I'm not looking out just for the marquee guy, I'm looking out for the guy that dreams of being a professional basketball player and gets a minimum deal. I'm not just trying to protect the guy on a team in a huge market. I'm protecting the player that is in a small market with incredibly loyal fans.I've made it clear, I want to play. You have each made it clear, you want to play. The fans have been unwavering, they want their basketball. The thousand of employees that work in the arenas, the ticket offices, the concession stands, they want a season. We all want to go back to work. The league and the team owners have locked us out. This was not our choice. Our employers decided to stop allowing us to do our jobs.My job since July 1st is to find a solution. To find an outcome that protects each of you and your livelihoods and continues to allow us to play the game we love so much and the fans love supporting.Since before the lockout began, I have spent hours upon hours, days, months, years, working on preparing you, the fans and the media about the possibilities. Now as the lockout has set in, reality of the situation is here. The most recent meetings in New York were effective. What you have been told by your agents, representatives and the media is probably speculative and inaccurate. What actually happened in those meetings was discussion, brainstorming and a sharing of options by both sides. The turning point this past Tuesday was not a disagreement between the players and the owners. It was actually a fundamental divide between the owners internally. They could not agree with each other on specific points of the deal and therefore it caused conflict within the league and its owners. So it is our hope that today, Thursday, at the owners meeting in Dallas that they work out their differences, come up with a revenue sharing plan that will protect their teams and are then ready to come together and sign off on the agreement we as a smaller group deemed reasonable.Decertification seems to be a hot button issue today in the media. So I'd like to address it. I've read yesterday's stories and find the position of these agents interesting. I have made myself available to each and every agent. But not once have I heard from them. If they are so concerned about the direction of the union, then why have they not contacted me? Each and every one of them mentioned has been in meetings with me. I've answered their questions, I've been told they support you, their players and our Players Association. So if there is a genuine concern, a suggestion, a question, call me. Email me. Text me. I'm working tirelessly each and every day on behalf of the over 400 players that they represent. Working for nothing but the best interests of THEIR guys. I don't make a commission, I don't make a salary for serving as President. I have NO ulterior motives. None.It is because they have not come to me once that I question their motives.I work every day on these negotiations. I work so that each player from Blake Griffin to Tyler Hansbrough, Pau Gasol to De'Andre Jordan, Dwight Howard to Jrue Holiday, Taj Gibson to Danny Granger, Steve Nash to Luke Babbit and every single player get a fair and reasonable deal. Not just for this year, not just for next year but for years to come. So that the league that WE the players largely helped build, continues to grow and thrive. So to address the agents that have decided to say their piece yesterday, I don't mind. Perhaps they are trying to make news. Perhaps they just want to show you, their clients, they are working hard. But what would be appreciated by the 400+ players would be the support of our agents and constructive ideas, suggestions and solutions that are in our best interests. Not the push for a drastic move that leaves their players without a union, without pensions, without health care. We just aren't there.I will remain committed to finding resolution to this because I know how important this is. I ask you to remain united with me and your over 400 allies, friends, brothers and colleagues. We are a powerful group if we remain united and focused on the task at hand.I urge every single one of you to call me, text me, email me with anything. An idea, a suggestion, a concern, a question. I represent you. I work for you.So to each player, each fan, each agent, each media member who ends up reading this...I stand behind this message. It comes from me, a 15 year veteran of basketball, the game I dreamt of playing as a kid, the game I love so much. I'm a teammate, I'm a father, I'm a son, I'm a husband, I'm a brother, but right now, the role I must work so hard to honor is the one as PA President. And I ask each of you to stand with me, stand by me and urge the league and the owners to come together and allow the game of basketball to continue to grow and thrive. We're ready.Sincerely,DerekRead more: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/sam_amick/09/15/derek.fisher.letter/index.html#ixzz1Y7JnriUd

Well I hope there will be an NBA season this year. I personally think that there need be no compromise made by the NBA Players themselves. There needs to become another way to make the NBA season Profitable for Most of the teams.

Lakers vs Mavericks:

A wonderful game.... A shame Kobe couldn't make that last shot fall.... With Atlanta defeating Chicago, Memphis defeating OKC, and Mavs defeating Lakers in the first game of the 2nd round, things already are bizarrely interesting... Miami knocked Boston off...And Rose's ankle ain't so good... SHAQ and Haslem are set to return @ some stage...Both players might, and might not do their teams any justice...who knows? I think it will be fun to see...

Monday, 2 May 2011

Hawks vs Bulls:

Everytime I see Rose Roll/sprain his ankle, I suffer.... D Wade had a problem with rolling his ankles during the regular season... Its pretty rough... I personally have had ankle problems in the past.. It's gotta suck when you're (potentially) the leagues awarded MVP for the season, and yo' ankles ain't holdin' up too good. Bulls Go down versus Hawks... Their shots wouldn't drop in the first qtr. they was a bit cold. And the Hawks shooting percentage was real sweet. No containing Joe Johnson. You can't keep up with a team if they are gonna get their shots to fall at that rate.... We'll see.. We'll see....

Heat51% vs Celtics49%

Heat WIN... Stoked... Paul Pearce Ejected... Whoa!....Sore loser... I do like both the celtics and heat, I would have been stoked to see either win... I think I kind of like Heat that 1% better... I think by the look of way teams like Memphis, OKC and CHI, and ATL are playing right now, that Miami, and Boston, Dallas, and Lakers, if they do take out the title, its going to be hard for them. I think that MEM, OKC, CHI, and ATL seem like they are HOTTER... The matchup between Miami and Boston is going to be a NASTY one... and well I think DALLAS and LAKERS, are all to old and crippled to take the crown. Whoever wins between Memphis, and Oklahoma, and whoever wins between Chicago and Atlanta(more likely to be Chicago I think), and whoever wins between Miami, and Boston... I think are going to be more likely and who are going to be most savage, in going after the rings... I think that Boston are the veteran team out of all those teams, and if Boston move into the next round, then the others are doomed. If Miami Move onto the next round, its going to be another NASTY match up against the Bulls, When OKC or MEM move into round 3. Lakers or Dallas will be killed off. Maybe this, Maybe that....

Grizzlies.....Def. OKC...Gnarly!

Game: MEM vs OKC... Insane!!!

2011: MEM vs OKC... Insane!!!

I am totally blown away... How awesome... Who woulda thought... Memphis Grizzlies defeats OKC in the first round... What a sweet matchup. Memphis grizzlies are HOT!!!!

Thursday, 28 April 2011

WoWzErZ! First round over... Round 2 begins....

Well I'll Be darned.... S.A. get Taken down, by Memphis... and Atlanta take out Orlando, who would have thought... and now for Round 2... I am quite sure Chicago will defeat Atlanta. But as for all the other matchups, its hard to say. I really do like Boston and Miami, So I will be keen as, to catch all the Boston v Miami games... I think Dallas can better the Lakers...I think OKC can move into the next round too.... Totally blown away at San Antonio and Orlando getting taken down. I do like Atlanta, I could see them getting better this year, last year. And I think The Lakers and Dallas are on their way out, but I think Lakers can WIN this round... BOSTON, CHICAGO, AND MIAMI, and OKC, are strong teams....Its gonna be mad to see who makes it into the final round from here on in. It would be totally cool if it was Miami, the Bulls, OKC, Boston, Atlanta or Memphis even... Boston are a better TEAM players than Miami, they have a better bench. Miami relies on their big 3 mainly. Boston have alot more players to go to. . I think this will go down to the WIRE, in 7 games. This is going to be a gnarly 2nd round match up to watch... Boston are the veteran squad. I am a fan of DWade, Lebron, Ray Allen, Paul Peirce, Garnett, Shaq(might not be playing), Rondo, I think that the Celts will be too cheeky for Miami. Miami are going to have to work ULTRA HARD to win this round. If they do win, then they will have to work ultra hard, to beat the Bulls. If Miami DO make it to the last round... WHAT a FEAT! I think Boston are more likely to get that far.... I think That It very well could be a Celtics vs Bulls 3rd round....

Grizzly ending...

It could be... A grizzly ending for San Antonio, if they don't pull some finger... What are the chances? They would have to win the next three in a row....Its going to be a bloody, sweaty, teary playoffs for the spurs.
They seem to making a slow decline, and the bears seem to have them in a bear hug, and squeezin' the numbers out of 'em...

Very nasty numbers for the spurs.. They had a sweet Regular season record, and now with injuries plaguing them, it doesn't seem they will turn it around...

StatCube @ nba .com is good to look at and compare teams.. Go have a look...

Boston Sweeps NY...Dwayne Wade Blocks The Crap out of a 7 Footer!!!!

Firstly: DID YOU SEE THAT DWAYNE WADE BLOCK ON HAWES(WH*RES): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk40KPuIFIc Damn thatz sweet!!!

BOS vs NY [BOS]: Boston take a sweep on NY, Amare ain't too good... and Boston play well as a team, without SHAQ...When SHAQ turns up...what a nasty weapon to have 1/2 through the playoffs...I AM 100% positively sure that BOSTON will be in the last round of the playoffs this year.

ATL vs ORL [3/1]: ATL are munchin' ORL's Head off... ORL better pull some finger....I would be curious to see whether ORL, make a come back, or they DIE in the first round. I like both teams, but I would have thought that ORL, would have moved on to the 2nd round....

MIA vs PHI [3/1]: MIA DON'T sweep the PHILLY 76er's... I would have thought they would... I think BOSH, and the rest of the team have to pull their finger out... BIG TIME! I AM A MIAMI FAN THIS YEAR, FOR SURE... Philly did come out biting down hard, shot sweet from 3 pt land, and played real well, and It was a PHI home game. Lebron had a chance to score and even it up, and failed... MIAMI failed to close that game with a win, NOW they gotta play another one. I really HOPE they learn from their mistakes, and they use this as a lesson for the next 3 rounds.

CHI vs IND [3/1]: With Derrick Rose a little injured, CHI are going to struggle. Indiana are going to DIE this round regardless... HEALTHY and @ their best CHI will make the last round of the playoffs, or they will be fighting in the 3rd round.

OKC vs DEN [3/0]: I will be blown away to see OKC, Sweep Denver...AND IF THEY DO... Then I think that they will have sweet momentum to grind away into the final rounds of the playoffs.

POR vs DAL [2/2]: A 50/50 Struggle... I big question mark hangs over this matchup in the series... Lets just wait and see...I really don't think either team will make it to the last round.

NOH vs LAL [2/2]: AGAIN... A Struggle... I don't think either team will nail it to the last round... I would like to see LAL get the boot in the 1st round....

SAS vs MEM [2/1]: AGAIN.... Another Struggle... SAS are slogged out... and I am sure though, they will be successors, and move into the 2nd round... I think SAS are too shifty to make it into the Last round...

Broked the ankle!!!!! /$#!T/0UCHies!!!!!!

AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!! (CRINGE!) ROSY BABY BROKED HIS ANKLE, AND THE BULLS LOSE x5 IN GAME 4.... AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! I even showed my baby(my girlfriend) Rose's Rolled ankle... That leaves a nasty flavor in my mouth....SPEWIN'! ... Well If ROSE hadn't of broked his ankle... Then the Pacers season would be over... Its a shame that they did not score those 6 points they needed to win...ROSE still got 10 dimes and 15 pts....

Friday, 22 April 2011

Oooooh Celtics.......

Rondo's triple double versus Knicks in Game 3.... OUCH! Paul Peirce(6/8), and Ray Allen HOT(8/11) From 3 point land...Double OUCH!

Kevin Love takes away the Most Improved Player Title... NO surprises here huh?

Oooooh Miami....

Watch Miami, and the Bulls, take the 4th win to move on into the next round over this weekend... No doubt about it.... Philly and the pacers...your off season begins after this weekend.... =)

I watched the POR vs DAL game today, and well well well....Thought Dallas had that one.... that JKIDD 3... was a THREE DAMN IT!!!!!!!

NO sweat for CHI, and MIA... Maybe OKC, and BOS, might find it easy too. Wouldn't surprise me actually.

Hey you! Subscribe to my BLOG... Or make a comment or somethin' will ya!?

Post for the day...

All those teams that are 2-0 at the moment... Are going to find it a hell of alot easier to make it to the finals than the those who are 1-1...San Ant. are going t struggle I believe...

Mavericks

I watched game 2 of Mavericks versus Blazers, and I can see that Mavs should move into the next round... I'm pretty sure so... Orlando and Atlanta and Lakers and New Orleans and San Antonio, Memphis I think are going to be nasty battles, So when the next round comes along, Celtics, Chicago, Miami should be quite healthy, and strong..I can't really say too much about OKC vs Denver... I think that if OKC can sweep Denver, then its going to be a hell of alot easier next round. ANY team that gets a sweep in round one, is going to be able to go deeper I think, just because they will get rest. If Chicago keep streaking, then they are going to be and keep on being tough, they will build up the momentum that they need. Miami could falter. So much rests on both of theses teams star players. Celtics are a team that still wins well without their star players... I Imagine that now New york has billups injured, its not going to be so easy for them, or maybe there will be that chemistry change. The teams with the better point guards will prevail. Boston, Chicago, and maybe San Antonio, Maybe new orleans, and Maybe Miami, will be very strong, I think the other teams (x BOS, x CHI) (Mia), will struggle and get left behind.... We will see.. I wonder what our opinions will be at the end of this round? Can't wait to see who gets the awards... I think that ODOM, was bound to get 6th man award this year, But I doubt Lakers are going to take it all this year.... Who will be MVP?

Tuesday, 19 April 2011

Apparently...

It has become quite apparent to me that CHI and MIA, will WIN versus IND and PHI... I will say no more...

Saturday, 16 April 2011

Massive!!!!

Well well well... The NBA Playoffs have started, and I am stoked as.... I can't believe Orlando would lose their first game against the Hawks, But I am guessin' that the hawks are strong, and Orlando might struggle some. I have no doubt in my mind that Miami will beat Philly, Bulls will Beat Pacers, San Antonio will beat Memphis, I think that the other match ups might be a little different... Cowabunga!!!! We're in for an awesome Playoff series!!! WooHoo!

Thursday, 14 April 2011

As I suspected

As I suspected, the Bulls get the best regular season record this season, and its interesting to see Miami get the No2 Spot, and the Lakers get the No2 spot.....Its going to be a filthy playoffs this year, and the off season/draft will be extremely interesting this year too!

Its playoffs time!!!!

Its totally playoffs time... and I am just itchin'....itchin' and scratchin' like mad with NBA playoffs fever and madness.... I am going to spew all aver my computer.... How awesome!!!....

Tuesday, 12 April 2011

I'ma gonna knock you out!!!!....Momma said knock you out....!!!!

Well thats it!!!!! All playoff berths have been clinched....and everything is pretty much settled...nothing much will change from here on in....all teams are where they are more than likely going to be by seasons end. SA and the Bulls are the top two teams this season, and so Kevin Durant takes the scoring title, Nash takes the assist title, Kevin Love takes the rebound title, My Aussie Brother Bogut takes out the blocks title, The Candyman is the biggest theif in the NBA, massive mentions to Dwight Howard, who will probably take Defensive player of the year, Lebron James, who is the best by Pts/Reb/Ast and efficiency, and Rajon Rondo for 2nd in steals and assists...

My very sad prediction below...
I seem to be a miami fan this year...
I anticipate I will be wrong...
I am sure it will be black and white, maybe red too...
I am pretty much a fan of all Miami, Boston, Orlando, Chicago, SA,
It's gonna be vicious...I wonder who Knocks who out...Maybe it will be SA vs CHI,
Or BOS vs LAL again? or ORL/MIA ... ORL vs SA?
Either way its gonna be insane!!!!
